Overview

Strengthening Resilience Through Local Disaster Risk Management Capacities Funded EUTF to reduce the potential negative environmental and socio-economic impact on local systems of the current and future displacements in southwest Uganda.

As ETROCA, our role, with the use of pictures and videos was to document all the activities undertaken representing the areas of strengthening local preparedness and resilience of refugees and host communities through improved natural resources management, disaster risk mitigation, and early warning systems in the two refugee hosting districts of Kyegegwa and Isingiro.

By the closure of the project, we managed to summarize all three-year activities into a suitable, relevant, and appealing report comprising a 10-minute video telling the EUTF story and impact, a Short video trailer of fewer than 4 minutes for social media use, high-resolution images with detailed captions depicting all the outcome areas, a Project booklet of 52 pages consisting of project information like stories of change, quotes, infographics, statistics, high-resolution photos and case studies all representing the various themes of the project. We also delivered all project videos and loose photos to the client for their record keeping.
